At 7:30a.m. you will be picked you up from your hotel (which needs to be located in downtown Arequipa) to start the first leg of the Colca Canyon tour. On the way to Chivay, we will stop in Pampa Cañahuas to observe vicuñas (relatives of the llama) in their natural habitat as well as llamas, alpacas, native birds, and the snowcapped mountains surrounding the area.
In Chivay, you will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and then taken you to your hotel in the town of Yanque. After a short rest, you will be able to enjoy the hot springs of La Calera located in Chivay. After relaxing at the hot springs, you will be taken to your hotel.
At 7:00a.m. you will picked up from your hotel to start a guided tour through the Colca Canyon, the deepest canyon in the world. The road will take you to the point called Condor Cross, where you will be able to observe the amazing Andean Condor flying in its natural habitat.
After enjoying its beautiful flight and the amazing landscape, we will go back to Chivay. On the way to Chivay you will visit the Andean town of Maca. At Chivay, you will have time to enjoy lunch (not included). After lunch, you will return to Arequipa. End of our services.
