    • All tour companies offer rafting and safety equipment. It is important to ask and verify that tour guides have a certification in rafting and safety.
    • Many travel agencies do not operate this tour directly, and once a traveler books the tour, the traveler is signed in with an actual tour operator. Even though prices are usually the same, it is important to ask who will be the tour operator of the tour.
    • The rainy season in Arequipa starts inlate December and lasts until March; therefore, the volume of water can increase to risky levels. In this event, departures can be canceled.
