• The complex built by the Jesuit congregation offers travelers an amazing experience where it is possible to enjoy several pieces of art of local and foreign as well as a magnificent architecture. "La Compañía de Jesús" includes the main church, the cloisters and the San Ignacio chapel.
• Travelers can access the main church and the cloisters at no cost but a donation will be most likely asked for. During mass (service) travelers will not be allowed in the temple unless they will take part of the service. Also, travelers will need to give a donation (entrance) to access the San Ignacio Chapel which rounds USD 3.00 per person.
• Travelers who enjoy art and history should definitely include a visit to this complex. The main church is a small museum with beautiful and intriguing paintings and sculptures. The altar piece is a master piece and it must be seen.
• In the cloisters, travelers can find handcraft and clothing stores (alpaca and vicuña) as well as small restaurants and coffee shops which can be visited during the day or the evening.
• The complex is located at 2,335 meters above sea level; therefore, altitude sickness could be an issue.
