Distance from Downtown Puno: It depends on the chosen route. Most tours start at the Port of Puno, which is 1 kilometer away from downtown Puno.

• Only a few travelers hove the opportunity to experience kayaking on Lake Titicaca. This is a recommended activity for travelers who are looking for once-in-a-life time experiences without having to deal with big crowds.
• Lake Titicaca is sa e to kayak, and previous kayaking experience is not needed;however,all participants should be in good physical shape since paddling is very demanding.Paddling throughthe Capachica or Chucuito Pensinsula definitely justifies the physical effort.
• Before starting the tour, it is important to take a look at the equipment provided since kayaking will be performed in temperatures near the low 50s ºF with a strong solar radiation.
• The rainy season in Puno starts in late December and lasts until March; therefore, it is possible that departures won't be available every day due to weather conditions.
• Sunscreen is a necessity.
